Testimonial: As a newbie to trading, I was overwhelmed by the number of stock trading strategies available for subscription.  I have tried temporary subscriptions to over 10 of them now.  The one that has worked best for me in the first 6 months is Disciplined QQQ Trading. The picks are easy to follow and can be executed after hours. The staff is very helpful with any questions I have had.  The return has been consistently positive to this point. Highly recommended!

About Us

Founder’s History

My interest in stock investing and trading took root while getting my Ph.D. in engineering and mathematics at UC Berkeley in the late 80's. Several years of subscribing to investment newsletters was leading my portfolio nowhere. The newsletters reported returns were not that good and my results were usually much worse than their results. Why? Their stock calls were not well defined nor were they easy to follow.

I decided that I could do better on my own. And that I did. My wife and I were living in Europe while I was on loan to a Swiss national lab in 1994. There I had good access to the emerging Internet and for the first time, I had access to daily quotes for every stock on the US markets. I could now put my engineering and mathematical skills to work for our financial gain. After a month or so of intense work I had coded a rudimentary method for picking stocks. I used this to pick individual stocks and by 1998 I was well on my way to retirement from my engineering job. My method, however, was undisciplined, subject to interpretation, and time intensive at a time when I had just had my second child in 18 months. The combination of these plus "falling in love" with a few stocks led me to many mistakes in 1998 and 1999 resulting in me losing much of what I had gained during the biggest bull market of the 20th century.

Never walk away from failure. On the contrary, study it carefully -- and imaginatively -- for its hidden assets.
--Michael Korda

You always pass failure on the way to success.
--Mickey Rooney

I did what author Michael Korda suggested. I studied my failure carefully. Why had I failed? I failed partly because of flaws or the incompleteness of my model and partly because I failed to follow the directions that my model gave (even if they were poorly defined). What I have now developed is a model that is well defined, easy to follow, produces excellent returns in up and down markets and minimizes risk.

My investment value is now been built back up even though the market overall has been much more difficult for most investors. With the controls and discipline incorporated into my model, the gains have been very good and I know the gains will continue.
